Bobbin Work, Wool Roving

July 3, 2015
Last month I attended Sew Amazingly U at the Next Restaurant and Conference Centre June 3 to 5th  I went to a demo on Bobbin Work.  The instructor recommended the following:  to use stabilizer, use Bottom Line thread on top and heavy decorative thread in the bobbin,  to stitch lines with taupe Bottom Line thread to show on the back, to stitch on the back, use an open stitch and increase length because the decorative thread is heavy

To do Wool Roving on  the Bernina, you need needles and the stitch plate.  There is a roving foot and you need 3 needles.  The work is hooped when roving.
